Don't Mess with Dad

Introduction

A man arrived at his new job and was introduced to his boss, who happened to be his girlfriend's father. The boss said, \"Son, welcome to the company. But unfortunately, we'll have to let you go. We can't have you two dating while you're working here.\"

The Joke

The man was heartbroken and didn't know what to do. When he got home that night, his girlfriend asked how his first day at work went. He replied, \"Well, I got fired for dating the boss's daughter.\" The girlfriend's father was furious when he heard this and stormed into his daughter's room. \"Did you hear what happened to your boyfriend?\" he asked. \"Yes, Dad,\" she replied. \"Well, he's fired because of you!\" shouted the father. \"But Dad,\" she said, \"he doesn't work at the cemetery anymore!\"
